Description: In this position, you will be responsible for the business applications support, mainly .NET/SQL based. The support will include the following: Engagement into issues resolution at earlier stages until closure, ensuring timely escalation to developers or other support teams for fix Close communications with customers during root cause analysis, good English required Communications to hosting teams and developers teams to make sure that issue is resolved Tracking status, sending communication mails to affected customers Contributing to wider projects which could include cost reduction, process improvement and others within Intel Also, you will participate in upgrade/migration projects, which will require some application testing, so you will need work closely with business analytics and gather good level of business processes knowledge You might be involved into application development process, as secondary activity Qualifications: You should possess a relevant educational qualification. You are expected to have some experience in the following: NET* C# - ASP.NET* development, VB.NET also may require in some projects MS SQL coding, including SSIS/DTS, storage procedures, triggers etc You should also have the following skills: Good problem solving abilities, troubleshooting experience Discipline Time and task management, attention to detail Good level of English Verbal and written communication skills The following skills will be an added advantage: Basics of IIS configuration, experience of deployment of applications between different server environments Unit testing in MS VS or Nunit Coding standards and application architecture standards understanding, programming patters, eXP methodology |
