Description: In this position, you will be responsible for researching, prototyping, developing runtime libraries for multithreading, such as Intel Threading Building Blocks as well as emulation tools for possible new processor architecture features. The job will involve detailed understanding of machine-level features and interaction with processor architects and internal customers of the developed software. You will also be developing products for Windows*, Linux*, Mac OS* and related operating systems. Qualifications: You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other technical discipline with subsequent experience in programming (more than five years of relevant experience for a Master of Science degree, more than six years for a Bachelor of Science degree). Other qualifications include: Strong working knowledge of and practice in C++ programming Shared memory parallel programming experience (understanding memory sharing issues, races, memory consistency, cache hierarchy, deadlock) Practical experience of software development with POSIX* threads, Microsoft* Windows* threads or similar threading packages Good English skills (in particular, technical reading and writing) |
