Description In this position, you will be responsible for documenting Intel's software products including compilers and libraries. This includes designing, writing, revising, and editing highly technical concepts and instructions and creating software product documentation (user guides, reference manuals, etc.) and online help to describe product functionality to end users. You will work closely with software engineers and other project stakeholders to develop new content or revise existing content and ensure completeness of the technical information for Intel software products. Working as information architects and information developers, individuals are an integral part of a Software product development and release team. For creating product documentation, you will analyze and interpret data to determine appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage, as well as adhere to legal guidelines. You will also attend planning and/or coordination meetings to assess customer requirements and work out documentation solutions, as well as assist in preparation and layout of work for publication. Qualifications You should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Technical science/mathematics area or Linguistics/Translation with good technical understanding . Additional qualifications include: - Good English writing skills and good spoken English skills - Excellent planning and communication skills, ability to work in a cross-geo team - Working knowledge of standard authoring tools and/or technology, such as FrameMaker*, Acrobat*, RoboHelp*, and HTML. Familiarity with XML-based publishing would be an added advantage. - Experience in programming languages, compilers, and software libraries is preferred. |
