Description In this position you will work on design and development of leading SW products from Intel: Parallel Studio and analogues. These tools provide end user with abilities to gather performance and correctness information about their applications and allow making them faster and more efficient on modern hardware platforms based on multi- and manycore processors. You will be responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, design and implementation of certain product functionality that may be applicable to particular customer profiles: enterprise, mainstream, mobile or embedded. You will have to understand customer needs well enough to be able to drive product requirements. You will work in a multinational team of professionals, and will have chances to introduce your vision and to influence future SW tools from Intel. Qualifications You must a final year student or a recent graduate who has completed his/her latest degree no more than 18 months ago or be a PhD student of any year. Additional qualification include: Solid knowledge of C/C++ with practical programming experience in real projects (commercial, industrial or open source). Good understanding and practice of existing threading models Comprehension of Windows and Linux OSes, with experience of writing portable applications being an extra bonus. Awareness of development processes and practices, SW optimization techniques and testing methodologies Familiarity with modern CPU architecture, x86 assembly language is desirable and gives an extra preference |
